"Dirty" cops

Far often our constitutional rights are being stripped away. People in positions of power, are abusing their power and making unjust laws to prevent law-abiding citizens unprotected or unable provide for their basic needs. The corruption eve goes as far as local law enforcement. I am not saying there are not good cops, but their sure are a lot of bad ones. The bad ones who are caught are given a slap on the wrist when caught and little to no legal actions is taken. In many cases they are put on paid leave, or in other words a vacation. I mean they should have some perks of the job, but take the traffic collisions for example, notice how it’s never their fault. Or how about the bribes they accept. Some of it not even in money, I found a story on sexual bribes, what kind of sick cop is that! You have cops overlooking murders, participating in illegal activities, some with heads of prime criminal organizations in their pockets. It is enough for one person to go mad. And you wonder why there is so much distrust with police officers in this country.

For the good cops I am deeply sorry. I know you are out there trying to do right by people. I’ve seen you and you are out there. It is a shame these pieces of filth are out their giving you guys and gals a bad name. Polices officers are public servants. They are defenders of justice and the keepers of law and order. When they start to overstep their positions that’s when I get really angry! Seriously when the “dirty” cops start messing around causing fear in the hearts of the ordinary citizen we got a huge problem

.

For action there is a consequence whether it is good or bad. So why in America are we rewarding bad behavior? If you’re out busting crime, you should not be committing crime. Hypocrites are not welcome in many places. I shouldn’t’ have to be looking over my shoulder wondering who the heck is going to get arrested today. I’m serious a couple weeks ago I was unlawfully frisked at a pool hall, just because some moron said I had a gun. No apologies from the cop. He didn’t even tell me what was going on until I questioned him about. I mean what the heck! You wondering people don’t like you.  Cops should be smart enough to follow their own laws.

The abuse even goes on inside of the law. Like quotas, you must catch so many speeding or you’re in trouble. Seriously go away with your speed traps or freaking illegal cameras. It is unconstitional by the way. You didn’t see my driving so therefore here is reasonable doubt. Go out catch a known drug dealer who you know is carrying for heaven’s sake. Do some good for this world instead angering somebody for no good reason.

Then there is the things were you cannot fight back. I’m sorry if someone is beating the snot out of me for no reason, which happens all the time, I’m going to fight back. ”Dirty” cops think they are untouchable, because most of the time they are. Every fiber of my being wants to show them how wrong that thought really is. But, unfortunately most of the time they are right. No legal action is taken. People are too scared to stand up to them; the whole entire system is majorly corrupted!

Cops are recent thing. You know how they started. Corporations hired goons to keep their workers in line. So the whole bases of the law enforcement idea are fear. I shouldn’t have to fear the people who are supposed to protect me. It makes me angry beyond all reason!

Again not all cops are “dirty” believe or not there are some who do their jobs right. Thank you to those honorable men and women who side with good. This article is not about you. I have the utmost respect for you and I would shake each and every one of your hands if I could. God bless you all, and may you being protected from any danger. However for those dirty cops, from the bottom of my heart I wish to tell you to get out of law enforcement!

Health Care, Lies to he People!

Americans! Hear me out.  The affordable care act is an act of war on your right to choose. The federal government should not be able to forcibly push health insurance down our throat! Now don’t get me wrong, the ability to obtain health insurance should be available to the population, but not like this!

Since the Affordable care act, also known as Obamacare, has been put in place six million have lost their insurance. Yet, only seven million have signed up. Those who don’t enroll are faced with harsh fines and penalties. Many have lost their doctors and families who are already struggling are put in a tough situation. Obamacare could literally take food of their tables, cause a backup on the basic utilities, or cause them to lose their homes!

Not mention the regulations on the care provided. Did you know the government’s health care code can determine if you live or die? That’s right if they view your illness as terminal, or o expensive they can deny you coverage. What is point of having coverage, if it’s dropped as soon as you need it?

If you are an adult in this Great country is should be our right to choose. The government has no right to decide if you need healthcare or not. It is called a free market for a reason!Citizens of these United States, wake up! They government is overstepping their power. Micromanaging our lives is not their job. We must resist these occurrences. No matter how good their intentions are it can only end in devastation!

We are a free independent people. We are capable of making our own decisions. Shouldn’t our health be in our hands? I am not saying healthcare is not a good idea. However, we deserve our right to choose without penalties. It is our life, take it back!

Do and Die?

Why is it that children think it is okay to starve themselves? I honestly can;t believe anyone would stoop so low as to destroy their body in order to obtain the “perfect body”.

The truth is no one is perfect. Yet everyone strives to be. For instance 78 percent of girls are unhappy with their body by the age of seventeen. As a teen you should be focusing on better things than your appearance! Come on ladies you are beautiful the way you are! However guys aren't innocent.

Five million Americas total suffer from eating disorders. I mean what the heck America? Are you so insecure you can't like yourself for who you are. America you are beautiful. If you can't find someone who sees that you’re looking in the wrong spots. A man should like you for you, not fro your body

God made us all in his image. For my audience that doesn't believe let me ask you something. Why aren't you beautiful. Its not the outside. In fact, true beauty comes from within. Believe in yourself, and it will work its self out.

Trust me ladies confidence is key. If a guy can't see the good in you because of your body, he never deserved you in the first place.Not to mention it is dangerous! So stop the extreme dieting. Around a thousand women die each year from eating disorders. Is your waistline really worth your life?

Porn

There has been a lot of free speech talk n America. Discussions of where free speech is allowed, what situations can certain words not be used. Such as yelling fir in a crowded area for no reason. However "the perfect storm" brings up a whole other point.

What about videos? More specifically pornography, how is this protected under free speech. the are under going sexual intercourse while thousands of people watch them. Besides the occasional, "harder!" what are the actually saying.

The truth is people gain nothing from pornography except a hard-on. The have no real message besides sex is enjoyable. That is all well in good, however a monkey could figure that out. All porn does is degrade women, and show men they are nothing more than a object of pleasure.

That is in every shape and form wrong. Even God almighty doesn't watch while you do the nasty so why should other people. Its not speech. in fact it is like a reversal into the stone ages. It brings down moral standards, and ruins lives. But the question remains, should it be outlawed?

In my opinion no. Despite how digesting it is, if you want to screw somebody with the whole world watching that is your choice. America was founded on the ideals that you are free to make your own decisions. Therefore against my better judgement, I think the supreme court is right on this one.

wake up dumber you are getting

So according to “left behind,left way behind”, America is getting dumber. He is absolutely right! I have noticed this trend for a number of years.

This article states that only two-thirds of all students are graduating high school. Are you freaking kidding me? We literally have a solid D in how many people are graduating. Did you know in the Cold War we were donating time to science and math. We discovered so many things, the funny part we still are.

Arguable we are Americas smartest generation. The only problem it is only a handful of people contributing. New phones, social media, and better games have made us brain dead. We have so much untapped potential.

So wake up America tap into you inner thought. You could create a great future, and give new life to a dying planet. Make Uncle Sam proud and show the world what we got!

what a waste

 I just love how wasteful big companies are. My company is doing a remodel and we literally have thrown out over a couple thousand in scrape metal. On top of that at least few hundred in lumber. So it got me thinking, how wasteful are the big companies.

Well from I saw over the last couple weeks, they have thrown out enough to cover my pay full time for around the next month at least. Yet the are making cuts on employees hours and taking away vending machines because they are losing money. That is not counting the thousands they have thrown away in other stores.

It is actually quite funny. Over all of Google I could not find any statics on how much companies wasted. This tells me that no one has done research, or the companies are to ashamed of there loss and bad habits.

Without statics to back up my claim this is nothing more than opinion. However, my message still stands strong. The waste companies put out is ridiculous, especially since most of it can be reused or recycled. They are budgeting in the wrong places.

What is Gloria talking about?

 So apparently being white, heterosexual, and middle class makes you a serial killer. At least that is what author Gloria Steinem states in “Supremacy Crimes”. This article offers no real statistics and in fact all of her offered facts where nothing more than coincidence. The only real fact Gloria gave was statistical a non-white middle age male is as likely to commit a Supremacy Crime as a non-female is to be anorexic. Which by the way is estimated at ten to fifteen percent. She states the white males are more likely to commit a horrific crime in order to gain a higher social status, to feel more powerful, or to obtain an element of control. Now there are plenty of cases where she is right, “cough, cough Hitler”, But she failed to realize she is dealing with a majority white population, a majority middle-class population, and a majority heterosexual population.

In fact, America is 77.9% white, roughly one-third are in the middle class, and 98.6% are straight. Those facts paint a whole new picture. Clearly the odds where against the demographic Gloria choose. However if you look Africa as a whole, The number of women raped, villages burned, mass slaughters happening are staggering. The majority of the population there is is black so why are they committing crimes associated with white males?

The answer is quite simple. It is a sickness. Men are more likely to have it worse than women, for the simple facts men tend to be more aggressive. Which Gloria does state. What she fails to state is that the desire to commit “Supremacy Crimes” comes from ones own hate or lust for power. Now most of us aren't going to go out and kill someone just because they anger us on a daily basis. Also, we don't tend to try to take over a place by force. Gloria failed to do her research accordingly. She did not take in account the amount of sane straight white middle-class males. This whole article was a rant that has no place in a functional society. It just goes to show how ignorant people can get when there is no one stop them.

They are here, What now?

So there has been a lot of talk of amnesty in America. There are people on both sides who are talking out of their butts. Conservatives are saying all illegals are criminals. Which is true but not by the definition they are using. Illegal immigrants are not a bunch of gangster thugs bent on destroying this country. However liberals are saying we should just make them all citizen, That is a very bad idea, Their are plenty of law abiding immigrants trying to get into this country the right way. So we need a middle ground . Before I list my ideas I have a song everyone should know.

That my friends is the inscription on the statue of liberty. This beautiful country has let immigrants in from all corners of the world and it has payed off. Chinese immigrants built the railroads. British came and settled America. Their has been so many immigration scares in this country it is ridiculous. So for the Conservatives let me put your fears to rest. In 2000 less than one percent of all non-native born people in the U.S.A were incarcerated. However, over three percent of native born were incarcerated. So in fact Just because they came here illegally doesn't make them hard-core criminals. Honestly most of them just want to seek a better life. That does not mean we should grant them automatic citizenship either.

There is a line of people waiting to receive citizenship the right way. That line at the moment could be as long as twenty-four years old. Even though some illegal immigrants have lived here most of there life, it doesn't give the right to just skip to the front of the line. There should also be a stiff penalty for sneaking into the country. Something like higher taxes or automatic probation. A deterrent to make others try to go the legal route.

America, this country was founded on the backbones of immigrants. Just because some of us are to lazy to take up the small jobs doesn't mean someone else won't. We should be more understanding of the hardships immigrants face to get here. After all we are all people on this planet, and should be treated as such.

Is Gay Marriage really wrong

Is gay marriage really wrong? According to Sam Schulman it is, but not because of reasons most anti-gay people think. In fact in his article “The Worst Thing About Gay Marriage” he criticizes biblical literalism and anti-homosexual bigotry. Schulman instead argues that gay marriage disrupts and could even destroy classic marriages.

Now spiritual I am completely against gay marriage. Being deep in my faith I interpret the biblical scripture, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination” as meaning it is an abomination to mate with the same sex. Let me clear I do not judge anybody. I view everyone equally and should be treated as such. However regardless of my spiritually opinion, the Constitution says something quite important in this subject. Thomas Jefferson wrote that the First Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state. So, if that is truly the case why is it anybody's business whom one marries?

According to Schulman by legalizing gay marriage, it will hurt the straight couples. Apparently it will cause straight to lose kinship and disturb the tradition of marriage all across the world. He states that it will cause children to give up there virginity and their parents will be powerless to stop it. He finishes his article by stating “We're about to see how humanity will do without something as basic to our existence as gravity.”

I am going to call bull crap on all of that. First off how in the world can you say gay marriage will make straight couples lose kinship. Schilman clearly has not seen the statistics on divorce. Almost fifty percent of marriages end in divorce. There are over 6,000 divorces per day. Clearly kinship and traditional marriages have flown out the window. Not to mention the majority of Americans lose their virginity way before marriage. The sad truth is the value of a traditional marriage has gone down dramatically. Years of television and bad examples have led America's people into believing sex is an achievement and should be experienced as quickly and as often as possible.

So if what Schilman says is true, why is it happening before gay marriage is legalized? His arguments offer no facts and are all opinion based. If you are going to give your opinion at least have the facts to back it up. However, if you are looking for a good history lesson on marriage read his article.

The fact remains gay marriage will always be an opinion based argument. There is no evidence that gay marriage will hurt or help the American public. Furthermore, if gay couples were to get married why would it matter to you. From the Bible stand point if homosexuality is really a sin worthy enough to go to hell then it is God's decision.

Regardless, whether being gay is right or wrong is not for the government to decide. In America it is the choice of the people on the religion and lifestyle they choose to live. It is also not right for people to judge one simply on the basis of their likes or dislikes. Wake up America, you should be more worried on how to better yourself then degrading lifestyle choices of others.

America's Youth in Danger?

Okay ladies and gentleman, this is my first blog ever. Before I start I want to begin by telling everyone a little about myself. To start with, if you couldn't tell by my title, I am a God fearing, gun loving, college student. I hope to become a vet one day, which is kinda ironic because i love to hunt and I am a hard core carnivore. However, I am not you're typical right wing extremist as many of you have just assumed. There are a few liberal policies I agree with, and many conservative polices I do not agree with. With that out of the way I recently read an article that got me pretty fired up.

Guns.com recently publishes an article describing research done on gun related deaths in America. According to this article  10,000 children go to hospital each year due to gun related injuries. Of those 3,000 die before they get to the hospital.(/www.guns.com)

Now at first glance its pretty depressing. If you are like me I couldn't believe all those young kids were being shot. However, most of the children in this study were not kids at all. In fact they were young adults, most in the category of eighteen to twenty years old. Now I am no expert but I am pretty sure when you are eighteen you are considered an adult. Do not get me wrong, it is still pretty sad but most of these "kids" are out there killing other people. Today's street gangs are recruiting children younger and younger. By the time they hit their teen they think they are untouchable. Some will kill a man for giving him/her a dirty look.

In light of this article I wanted to do some research of my own. I wanted to determine three things. One what is the leading killer of America's children. Two exactly how many gun related deaths are occurring to America's children. Finally I want to know what kind of programs there are to keep them safe.

To answer my first question i visited a couple of sights. The first thing i found was that in each category, 1-4,5-14, and 15-24, accidents were one of the leading causes of death for children and adolescents.(www.nlm.nih.gov) Now according to Guns.com less than twenty-five percent of gun-related injures are accidents. However when we look at the 15-24 age groups two new killers appear. Those killers are suicide and homicide. So gun-related injuries are more prevalent in children over fourteen years old. Hardly what I envisioned when I was told children were being sent to the hospital, around twenty each day, due to guns.

So that leaves they question how many children are being sent to hospital due to guns? Also how many die due to their injuries? Now according to Guns.com guns are not even in the top five pediatric injuries.  The grand statics, 7,500 injuries and only 500 deaths.(thechart.blogs.cnn.com) So we went from 3,000 dying before the get to the emergency room to 500 deaths. that is a pretty dramatic drop.

Finally how to keep America's children safe. Parents you don't need a class or a website to keep your kids safe from guns. I have grown up around guns all my life. Since I was born my parents have done three simple things. First keep your guns put up locked up. This will prevent accidents from happening. Second teach your kids. A gun should respected at all times. Teaching kids about the responsibility of owning a firearm will not only teach them gun-safety, but will also teach this the dangers that can happen if the firearm is not used correctly.Finally keep your kids off the streets. Knowing were they are will help you to know they are safe. If they are in club or sport it is kinda hard for kids to get into trouble.

Above all people need to understand guns are a tool. Guns cause injuries and death as much as spoons cause obesity and cars cause wrecks. Children will find all sorts of ways to hurt themselves. There are much bigger dangers to America's youth. It it is our job as the adults of this country to teach them about safety.
